Anti-Reflective Coatings
(AR Coatings)

for Glass, Plastic, and Film

ESI applies anti-reflective coatings (AR coatings) to various substrates including glass, plastic, and acrylic to produce a clear display with minimized interference from reflections.

Multi-layer anti-reflective coatings reduce surface reflection and increase substrate transmission. These anti-reflective coatings are designed to cut down on unwanted reflections caused by ambient light.

ESI’s AR films are not for outdoor use.

Anti-Reflective Coatings (AR Coatings) on Glass - AR Glass

Multi-layer vapor deposition coatings on one or two sides of glass are designed to minimize reflection and maximize transmittance. ESI’s anti-reflective coated glass improves usability of displays by reducing reflections while maintaining crisp, sharp images.

Anti-Reflective Coatings for Acrylic (Viewmax)

Multi-layer vapor deposition coatings on one or two sides of hardcoated acrylic are designed to minimize reflection and maximize transmittance. ESI’s anti-reflective coated acrylic protects your display and improves usability by reducing glare and improving contrast.

Anti-Reflective Film (Anti-Reflective Coatings on PET Film)

Anti-reflective coatings on PET film are designed to improve the image, contrast and color quality of LCD panels. With the anti-reflection coating applied, the resulting anti-reflective film (AR Film) is laminated to the front of LCD panels to reduce surface reflections. This treatment also improves brightness. AR film is available laminated to customer panels, in cut-to-size sheets, or in roll format.
